Empathy No. 102
11/30/02, MasterHub session, 11:21 AM
CobaltSky: Morning Roderick. This is Gary
CobaltSky: Didn't mean to surprise you, I got your info from Allison
RBStoryteller: No problem.
CobaltSky: Cool. So how are you? Doing better?
RBStoryteller: Yeah, I'm doing all right.
CobaltSky: Good to hear, Allison was really worried for a while
CobaltSky: You have some people who really care about you.
RBStoryteller: I know.
CobaltSky: So I won't waste your time, I wanted to talk about last weekend
CobaltSky: No one ever told me you had a voice like that.
RBStoryteller: I'm just okay. People make too big a deal out of it.
CobaltSky: What do you mean? I was there :)
CobaltSky: You should be a little proud, man. That was really good.
CobaltSky: I bet Allison said that we had to cut our frontman loose, so we're looking for a vocalist
CobaltSky: You interested?
RBStoryteller: For the band?
CobaltSky: Of course. Stu was there too so he knows you have the skill for it.
CobaltSky: We just need to have you come down and perform with the whole band, see if you fit
RBStoryteller: I don't know. I don't think you really want me.
CobaltSky: You'd be doing us a HUGE favor. You know that Homecoming is coming up
CobaltSky: We need someone really good to ace the tryout.
RBStoryteller: You want me to go on in front of the whole school?
RBStoryteller: I think I'd let you down.
CobaltSky: Okay, but don't think about us man. Think about what YOU want.
CobaltSky: You have this gift and you obv like to use it.
CobaltSky: So is that something you want to try?
CobaltSky: We can start real easy, you would just play with us with maybe some friends watching
CobaltSky: And then we can try a little demo show so you know what it's like to be on stage
RBStoryteller: I'll think about it and get back to you.
CobaltSky: Thanks man. And don't sweat it too much, like I said just do what's best for you.
RBStoryteller: Thanks for the offer.
CobaltSky: No sweat man :)
